A Member of the Washington Arts Society must overcome trageDy to find love

Story:

Light at the Shore is an engaging juxtaposition of film and theatre. The film’s palette of vibrant colors and soft close-up photography provoke a mood that few lower budgeted movies are able to achieve.

Recurrent throughout the story are discussions that take place between a very sad, heartbroken Cora Lancaster and her new roommate the down to earth, tell it like it is, cousin Eve. It is during these conversations where Eve tells Cora what she needs to do to move beyond the tragedy that has caused her so much sadness.

How often in life do we received advice that is truly helpful. And how many times does this advice, even when it is well intended, only leads us deeper into despair? Well, perhaps, after everything is said and done, the best thing to do is make your own decisions and do what you feel is right for you. Do you accept to advice or dismiss it? This is something you will have to decide for yourself.

“Light at the Shore was filmed entirely in the District of Columbia. All actors in “Light at the Shore” reside in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
